Who is USSD for and why should I use it? 

USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is a technology which enables ZAZU Life policyholders to easily interact with or retrieve information about their policies while using their mobile device – at any time and from anywhere. 

Using USSD is the quickest and easiest way to request your policy documents, access claim and policy amendment forms, view unpaid premium notifications, check cover, and much more. 

How do I use USSD? 

Using USSD is as simple as making a phone call and once the USSD code has been dialled, you will be presented with a menu on your mobile’s screen. Simply reply to the prompts with the relevant menu option to view or access the desired information. 

Existing policyholders can dial *120*245# free from any mobile phone to access the following ZAZU Life policy services: 

• Check your current cover status. 
• Access copies of your ZAZU Life policy documents via Email, FAX, or SMS. 
• Access claim forms via Email, FAX, or SMS. 
• Access a policy amendment form via Email, FAX, or SMS. 
• View unpaid premium notices. 
• View cover details for overage children. 
• View benefit increase details. 

Important note: Remember to include any symbols like * or # when dialling.
